About

Welcome to Mount Vernon’s Online Customer Reporting web site. This site’s purpose is to provide Mount Vernon’s critical business partners with real-time access to relevant business information. As an alternative to (or an adjunct to) Mount Vernon’s extensive EDI, automated fax and email offerings, this site allows each partner to retrieve their data at the most convenient time and date for their business needs. By eliminating redundant testing and data entry, this information can save money and time, and reduce opportunities for error. If you are interested in getting access to this information for your company, please Contact Mount Vernon.

Customer Reports

On all reports, each user can control his/her “view” of the data in two ways:
1. Selecting just the columns of the report which are most meaningful. (using the checkboxes)
2. Choosing the Order in which the detail items are displayed. (using the radio buttons)
Once the proper “view” has been set up, the user can choose to hide the options to provide a less cluttered interface. On some reports, links are provided to additional related detail. Clicking the MVM Order# or MVM Shipment# on those reports takes you to the corresponding inventory detail reports, where the individual items are detailed.

A sample of each of the currently available reports is shown below.

Customer Order Status (click to enlarge)
The Customer Order Status report provides customers with an up to the minute picture of their outstanding orders and recently-completed orders. All orders which have not yet been satisfied, or have been satisfied within the last 30 days, are listed along with the relevant details from the customer perspective, including the customer’s order # and fabric code, as well as shipped, on hand, and in production quantities. Contract-type orders are shown in a contrasting color to distinguish them from regular and assortment orders. Note that clicking MVM Order# takes you to the Inventory Detail report for that particular order.

Inventory Detail (click to enlarge)
The Inventory Detail by Order report shows quantitative and business-related data for each of the inventory items included in the order. One useful example is the shade-related data, which includes MVM’s original tapering, as well as the actual values. A customer could choose to use our taper, or import the data into their own software and perform additional analysis. Note that some of the data values are only relevant for certain inventory types and not populated for others.

Shipment History (click to enlarge)
The Shipment History report provides customers with an up to the minute picture of shipments from MVM to their various receiving locations. All shipments for the last 90 days are listed along with the relevant details from the customer perspective, including the customer’s release #, ship-to location and truck line used. Note that clicking Shipment# takes you to the Inventory Detail report for that particular shipment.
